Die vorgetragene Doktorarbeit klärt mit Hilfe des historischen Hintergrunds von Entwicklungen, des Zusammenhangs der Entwicklungen verglichen internationalen Erfahrungen auf Prinzipien und die Ergebnisse von der Forschung im Zusammenhang mit dem Bericht der Beziehungen zwischen den verschiedenen Interessengruppen des Prozesses und sowie ihrer Mitwirkung, die Ergebnisse der Studie im Bezug auf die integrierte Stadtverwaltung von Pristina, als die Hauptstadt des Kosovo.<br />Lokale Entwicklungen spielen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Positionierung der Stadt in der globalen städtischen Hierarchie.<br />Zunächst einmal wird dies eine Wirkung bei der Abschöpfung globalem Kapitals für die Weiterentwicklung haben und gleichzeitig wird es negativen Auswirkungen der Globalisierung verdrängen, wodurch lokale Werte und Lebensweise gewährleistet werden. Im Kosovo wird Pristina das Zentrum der Entwicklungen, nicht nur durch Kapitalumlauf, Zirkulation von Menschen, Arbeitskräften und Experten verschiedener Fachrichtungen, sondern auch durch Armut, Tradition und Kultur. Die integrierte Stadtentwicklung basiert auf finanzelle, politische, kulturelle und technologische Stärke. Dieser Ansatz muss nachhaltig und systematisch behandelt werden durch die Erbringung von lokalen Besonderheiten in der globalen Vielfalt, und zwar durch die Stadtentwicklung im Rahmen der allgemeinen Entwicklung der Gesellschaft. Prozesse, welche die neü lokale Verwaltung von Prishtina bestimmen müssen, sollten nicht unidirectional sein sondern dynamisch, durch Bildung eines Erscheinungsbilds der Stadt, so dass diese bekannt, denkwürdig, attraktiv und anders wird um die Aufmerksamkeit von potenziellen Investoren und ihrer Bürger zu erregen.<br />Der Wettbewerb zwischen den verschiedenen Städten um die städtische und architektonische Attraktivität, als Hauptpfeiler der integrierten städtischen Entwicklung der Gesellschaft, wächst intensiv an. Es ist logisch zu erwarten, dass Pristina weiterhin sehr attraktiv als ein Ort mit Lebens- und Arbeitsqualität und der Entwicklung von sozialen Werten als entscheidener Faktor für die Entwicklung der Stadt, sein wird.<br />Jedoch, wie schon oben erwähnt, ist keine Entwicklung möglich, ohne eine bessere Leistung der Träger, die in diesen Prozessen beteiligt sind. Die rationelle Nutzung von Land, Bewohnung, die Beteiligung der Bürger und Stadtökologie sind einige der Herausforderungen für eine gedeihliche Entwicklung von Pristina. Damit verbundenen Probleme:<br />Bevölkerungswachstum, erhöhte Transportkosten, Wachstum und Umwelt, Wachstum und Infrastruktur werden die institutionelle Politik für die Stadtentwicklung von Pristina bestimmen, mit dem Argument, dass der Wachstum nicht begrenzt werden darf, sondern verwaltet werden muss, möglichst für das Verwaltungskonzept der "Excellence".<br />

The presented Dissertation describes the results of a study about the concept for integrated urban management -case of Prishtina, using historical background of developments, contextual developments compared with international experiences and principles and results of the research work about relationships between different stakeholders in the process and their involvement too.<br />Local urban development plays an essential role in the positioning of city in the global urban hierarchy. First of all this will affect attraction of global capital for further development and at the same time it will eliminate negative impacts of globalization processes ensuring values and the way of local life. In Kosova , Prishtina is becoming a centre for development, not only through flow of capital , flow of people, labour force, experts of different fields but also poverty, traditions and cultures. Integrated urban management is based on financial, political, cultural and technological power and resources.<br />This needs to be treated consistently and systematically bringing local characteristics in the global diversity and this through urban development as part of general development of the society. The processes which will determine new local urban management of Prishtina should not be static but dynamic, forming a view of the city and in this way city becomes well known, remembered, attractive and different to have attention of possible investors and its citizens. Competitiveness is increasing intensively between different cities for developing urban and architectural attractivity as main pillars for integrated modern urban development of society. Is logical expecting that Prishtina should continue to become as much attractive as place with quality of life, work and developed social values, as vital factors for further development of city. Moreover, mentioned above will not be possible developement without better performance of involved stakeholders. The rationale use of the land, transport, housing, citizen's involvement and urban ecology are some of main challenges for the prosperity and development of Prishtina. Interrelated problems:<br />population growth, transport growth, growth and environment, growth and infrastructure will determine institutional policy for urban developement of Prishtina, arguing that growth should not be limited but it should be managed possibly through "Excellence" managerial concept.
