Einführung eines ERP-Systems in einem Klein - Mittel-Unternehmen : Planung, Auswahl und Implementation

Abstract

Der Begriff ERP-System (Enterprise Resource Planning) steht als Synonym für ein unternehmensweites Informationssystem. Die Unternehmensprozesse von Heute beginnen und enden nicht mehr innerhalb der Unternehmung. Zudem dient ein ERP-System zur Abbildung aller Geschäftsprozesse, sowohl der unternehmensinternen, als auch der unternehmensübergreifenden. Nicht nur Großunternehmen und Konzerne mit mehreren Niederlassungen, sondern auch klein- und mittelständische Betriebe implementieren diese Art von Informationssystemen.<br />Diese Arbeit widmet sich der praktischen Auswahl und Implementierung eines ERP-Systems in dem deutschen Produktionsunternehmen Tune U. Fahl e.K.. Hierzu wird ein Auswahlverfahren vorgestellt, welches auf kleine und mittlere Unternehmen ausgelegt ist und den Kurs für eine in Eigenregie geführte Projektabwicklung vorgibt.<br />Im Anschluss an den allgemeinen Teil zum Thema ERP-Systeme, der die theoretischen Grundlagen, den Funktionsumfang sowie die historische Entwicklung, die Anbieter und den Markt von ERP-Systemen umfasst, wird ein Auswahlverfahren anhand einer definierten Phasenfolge dargestellt.<br />Das beschriebene Auswahlverfahren besteht aus den fünf Projektphasen Vorbereitungs- und Organisations-, Auswahl-, Konzeptions-, Anpassungs- und Umstellungsphase. In den einzelnen Phasen werden vom Projektteam systematisch die auszuführenden Tätigkeiten und Aufgaben angeführt.<br />Die Herausforderung bestand im besagten Unternehmen jedoch in der praktischen Umsetzung des definierten ERP-Systemauswahlverfahrens, dessen Dokumentation folglich Bestandteil des dritten Teiles ist. Darin werden die Ergebnisse der Projektdurchführung bzw. die Abarbeitung der einzelnen Projektphasen umfangreich beschrieben. In den letzten beiden Kapiteln sind abschließend die gesammelten Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse, ein Ausblick sowie ein letztes Resümee zu finden.<br />

The term ERP-system (Enterprise resource Planning) as a synonym stands for a corporate wide information system. Nowadays processes don´t begin and end within the enterprise anymore. An ERP-system serves the mapping of all business processes in an enterprise, both in-company processes and processes throughout the entire company. Large scale enterprises and combines with several settlements as well as small- and middle-class enterprises (SME) implement this kind of information system.<br />This work devotes itself to the practical selection and implementation of an ERP-system in the German production company Tune U. Fahl e.K. For this purpose, a selection procedure is introduced which is suited to SMEs and gives the course of carrying out the project autonomously.<br />After a general part on the topic "ERP-systems", comprising the theoretical basis, the range of functions as well as the historical development, suppliers and the market of ERP-systems, a selection process is shown/there will be a selection process with the help of a defined sequence of phases. The Selection procedure consists of five project phases: preparation and organization, selection, conception, adaptation and conversion. Herein, all activities and duties which should be carried out systematically by the project team are given.<br />However, the challenge lay in the practical conversion of the company's defined ERP-system selection process. The realisation of this project and the results of each project phase are described extensively in the third part. Finally, the collected experiences and results as well as a prospect and a summary can be found in the last both chapters.
