Abstract:
In einem Forschungsprojekt an der TU Wien wurden die Zündungs- und Verbrennungsmechanismen der laserinduzierten Zündung von flüssigen alternativen Kraftstoffen im Vergleich mit der konventionellen Funkenzündung untersucht. Die Untersuchungen fanden an einem Einzylinder-Forschungsmotor mit homogenem Brennverfahren statt, der mit Bioethanol, Bio-Ethyl-Tertiär-Butylether (ETBE), Butanol und Gemischen aus diesen Komponenten sowie zum Vergleich mit Benzinkraftstoff betrieben wurde. Ziel der Untersuchungen war die Darstellung der thermodynamischen und emissionsrelevanten Unterschiede zwischen Funkenzündung und Laserzündung bei der Verbrennung.
