Abstract:

The Change of living conditions and family needs are driving expectations for educational institutions. To take some of the load of employed parents by providing good social infrastructure for all family members is decisive. In order to ensure the compatibility of family and working life, educational institutions would have to open up equally to all actors: children, adults and the urban district. Everyday recklessness, such as a lack of variety of leisure and educational opportunities, lack of childcare, unfavorable public transport connections and long distances in everyday life present families with major challenges. Urban neighborhoods get strengthened when the social and technical infrastructure helps to simplify everyday life organization. This scientific work serves as an attempt to form a symbiosis of an educational institution (place), tram station and suburban train station (non-location). The target is an "accessiblepublic good", which promotes lifelong learning, social and technical infrastructural networking, as well as the physical connection of potential urban neighborhoods.
