The Master's Thesis is an academic paper which is aimed at deepening the knowledge in the specific subject area of the MSc Program Engineering Management. The objective of this Master Thesis was to examine the work flow in the design and engineering departments of AAG. On one hand there is always a pressure on the design departments from the cost side. On the other hand the complexity of different CAD software tools causes into problems due to different file formats and data exchange options. Thus the drying and ventilation group out of the paper machines department initiated an assessment on the process flow and data management. The main focus has been put on the interaction between the different design and engineering groups.<br />
