Many of the European countries and few other countries like Taiwan are successful in introducing the Electronic Health (E-health) System for the citizens of the country. They are now moving further in E-health to adapt the new technologies and improve the quality of health care in the country.<br />E-health has introduced the Electronic Health Card system with a smart card as the health card profiting the country and the people. The objective of the thesis comes from the fast growing Health Care Technologies. This thesis aims at an E-health system, that is the plan of an Electronic Health-ID-Card system implementation in India - but as India is a vast country the focus is only on the single state of Andhra Pradesh. The thesis starts with the introduction of the health ID cards, the examples and the implementation process. Chapter 3, Health Card system:<br />A Typical Scenario gives us the details of the E-health adapted countries with examples. The past, present and future health care administrations in the state of Andhra Pradesh are focused with examples.<br />The interconnection between the stakeholders in the health care structure is illustrated along with all their benefits. The importance of the security in the E-health and how we could get rid of the security problems are focused. The plan of the overall Health ID Card system in the state of Andhra Pradesh is given with the use cases and the sketch of the architecture in the chapter 5, Health Card in Andhra Pradesh.<br />
