Corporate foundations contribute immensely to the economic development of a country. Where new organizations are founded innovative developments are generated and employment increases. One of the most important questions is: why do some people decide to found a new corporation where others flinch from going into business for themselves. There is a big discrepancy between these people who wish to start as an entrepreneur and those who really put their dreams into action. This master thesis tries to find alternatives which would encourage more people to undertake their first steps in entrepreneurship. For these empiric results which were published by Statistik Austria and OECD were analyzed, its synopsis showed that the financial, the legal and the personal frameworks were the major influencing factors.
