Abstract:
Diese Diplomarbeit wurde in Kooperation mit der MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Österreich AG in Wien geschrieben. Diese beschreibt die prozessorientierte Herangehensweise für die Planung von Varianten innerhalb des Produktentstehungs- Prozesses des Unternehmens.<br />Im Grundlagenteil werden die theoretischen Hintergründe über Variantenplanung, Prozessmanagement und deren Anwendungen erläutert.<br />Dies wird durch die praktische Erstellung des Prozesses aufbauend von der Definition über die Optimierung bis hin zum Monitoring des Prozesses ergänzt.<br />Die praktische Umsetzung des Grundlagenteils wird durch die Implementierung des Variantenplanungs- Prozesses in den übergeordneten Produktentwicklungs- Prozess beschrieben. In weiterer Folge wird der praktische Durchlauf des Prozesses im Rahmen eines Pilotprojektes einer Konzeptstudie beschrieben und dokumentiert.<br />Im Anhang der Diplomarbeit sind neben einer detaillierten Prozessbeschreibung der einzelnen Prozessschritte und deren Zuständigkeiten noch der Prozess sowie ergänzend ein praktisches Anwendungsbeispiel der Teileportfolio- Steuerung hinterlegt.<br />

This thesis was written in cooperation with MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Österreich AG in Vienna, Austria. It describes the process oriented approach about the planning of product versions within the developing process of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge.<br />The second part of the thesis gives an overview of the theoretical background of planning product versions. It describes process management with focus on the implication in practice. Moreover that the definition, optimization and monitoring of the process development is described in this chapter.<br />The implementation of the process within the superior product developing process is described in the practical part of the theses. In detail this chapter gives an overview about the development and the optimization of the process. In addition to that an example of use is described and documented in this chapter too.<br />A detailed description of the process, an user friendly flow chart of the process itself and a detailed practical sample of the adjustment of existing products is listed in the agenda.<br />
