Wiederaufbau der durch das Erdbeben schwer beschädigten Schulen in Petrinja. Die neue Anlage befindet sich auf dem Bauplatz einer Grundschule neben der denkmalgeschützten Mittelschule, die auf Sanierung wartet. Die Idee des Neubaus ist eine Synthese aus zwei Schulen mit neuen Räumen, die nicht nur der Schule, sondern auch einem Bildungszentrum gewidmet sind, das von der breiten Öffentlichkeit genutzt wird. Mit der Konzentration auf wichtige Faktoren soll das neue Gebäude ein Ort für die Gemeinschaft sein und den Kindern und Jugendlichen dieser Stadt, die eine schwierige Zeit durchgemacht hat, neue Möglichkeiten bieten.

Rebuilding of schools in Petrinja, badly damaged in the earthquake. The new facility is located on the site of an elementary school next to a secondary school that is subject to monument protection and awaiting renovation. The idea of the new building is a synthesis of two schools, with new spaces dedicated not only to the school but also to an educational center that will be used by the general public. Concentrating on important factors, the new building should be a place for the community and provide new opportunities to the children and young people of this city that has gone through a difficult period.
