Hoch3 : Entwurf eines Hochhauses mit hybrider Nutzung im Wiener Nordbahnviertel - Freizeit, Arbeiten, Wohnen

Abstract

Die steigende Bevölkerungszahl in Wien zeigt, dass die Stadt zum Wohnen und Leben für viele Menschen attraktiv ist. Das vielfältige Angebot und die Lebensqualität, welche die Stadt Wien bietet, dürfen zukünftig nicht verloren gehen und müssen besonders auch von Planern immer berücksichtigt werden. Für den Gebäudetypus „Hochhaus“ gibt es viele verschiedene Definitionen. Allerdings lässt sich keine eindeutig formulieren. Das Gefühl für die Höhe eines Gebäudes ist ein sehr persönliches und emotionales, welches jeder Mensch unterschiedlich empfindet. Der Standort eines Hochhauses ist außerdem ein wichtiger städtebaulicher Aspekt, welcher schon bei der Planung beachtet werden muss. Daher steht das Thema Hochhaus oft zur Diskussion. Ein Hochhaus wird unter anderem als möglicher Lösungsansatz für Nachverdichtung und nachhaltige Schaffung von Raum im städtischen Gebiet geplant. Eine weitere Aufgabe ist es auch, der Bevölkerung mit dem Bau etwas zurückzugeben. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird daher der Mehrwert für die Gesellschaft herausgearbeitet und unter anderem die gute Aussicht, welche durch die Höhe erreicht wird, auch für die allgemeine Bevölkerung zugänglich gemacht. Bei Hoch3 steht ebenfalls eine flexible und offene Gestaltung im Vordergrund, da so der Bau leicht für nachfolgende Nutzungen angepasst werden kann. Der Typus Hochhaus bringt noch viele weitere spannende Aspekte mit sich. Darunter fallen zum Beispiel die Gemeinschaftsflächen und Grünräume, die ins Gebäude integriert werden. Diese Flächen spielen eine große Rolle für die Bildung von nachbarschaftlichen Beziehungen und den Austausch untereinander. Hoch3 ist also ein Hochhaus mit hybrider Nutzung und abwechslungsreichem Angebot. Freizeit, Arbeiten und Wohnen vereint in einem Turm.

The rising population in Vienna shows that the city is attractive for many people to live in. The diverse range and the quality of life that the city of Vienna offers must not be lost in the future and must always be taken into account, especially by planners. There are many different definitions for the building type „high-rise“. However, none can be clearly stated. The sense for the height of a building is a very personal and emotional one, and different for every person. Furthermore, the location of a high-rise building is an important aspect in urban planning, which must be considered during the planning stage. For that reason, the topic of high-rise buildings is often up for discussion. Among other things, a high-rise building is planned as a possible solution for re-densification and the sustainable creation of space in urban areas. Another aim for thebuilding is to give something back to the community. This master project therefore emphasises the added value for the society. Among other things, the good view that is achieved through the height, is made accessible to the public. In the case of Hoch3, the focus was also on a flexible and open design, as this allows the building to be easily adapted for subsequent uses. The high-rise building type has many other exciting aspects. These include, for example, the communal areas and green spaces that are integrated into the building. These areas play a major role in the formation of neighbourly relationships and the exchange among each other. Hoch3 is therefore a high-rise building with hybrid uses, offering a various range of activities. Leisure, work and living combined in one tower.
