Abstract:
Goal of present master thesis is to assess BLI as possible measuring technique for both titer and filling degree, facilitating a novel method for capsid particle conglomerates derived from biotechnologically relevant (early-stage) harvest samples with accuracy lower than 20%. BLI is based on white light interferometry, which enables time-resolved monitoring of specific rAAV layer thickness accretion, hence allowing determination of titer and possibly filling degree.
