Abstract

Die Pandemie hat viele Touristen gezwungen, auf Attraktionen in ihren Heimatländern zu achten. Vor allem im Winter, während der strengen Quarantäne, suchten die Menschen nach Orten zum Skifahren.In der Ukraine gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, sich in den Bergen zu entspannen. Neben den vielen Interessanten Wander- und Radwegen im Sommer, können die Karpaten im Westen des Landes auch als Skigebiet im Winter genutzt werden. Nicht weit von der Spitze von Hoverla befinden sich die drei beliebtesten - Bukovel, Slavske und Dragobrat.Aufgrund sehr hoher Investitionen im Skigebiet Bukovel hat sich das besagte Resort zu einer Art Monopol entwickelt. Dementsprechend haben die Besitzer viel Macht über die dort herrschenden Preise bei Unterkunft, Restaurants und Unterhaltung. Allerdings eignet sich das Skigebiet rund um Dragobrat von der Natur aus besser, weshalb es durch clevere Investitionen und Infrastrukturentwicklung der Monopolstellung von Bukovel die Stirn bieten könnte.Das Resort ist in der Regel während der Saison beinahe vollständig ausgebucht, es fehlen aber qualitativ gute Hotels welche das Potential dieser Region vollständig ausschöpfen könnten. Um mehr Menschen anzuziehen, sollte es ein Gebäude sein, das sich im Aussehen und der Funktion von den anderen unterscheidet. Normalerweise wollen die Touristen so nah wie möglich zu den Skiliften die Unterkunft mieten, um keine Zeit zum Eingang in unbequemen Stiefeln zu verschwenden. Wenn sich das Hotel am Fuße des Berges befindet, soll man kein Auto mieten. Es ist sogar noch besser, wenn man von der Piste direkt ins Zimmer fahren könnte. Dies hat zur Hauptidee des Gebäudeentwurfs geworden.

Not far from the top of Hoverla pick are the three most popular - Bukovel, Slavske and Dragobrat.Huge investments have been made into the Bukovel resort, which in the end resulted in a kind of a skiing monopoly in Ukraine. The owners have power over the prices for accommodation, restaurants and entertainment. However, the nature of the ski area around Dragobat is more suitable for skiing: the snow lasts longer and the mountains are higher. It could defy Bukovel’s monopoly through clever investments and infrastructure development.The resort is usually booked during the season, but lacks good hotels. In order to attract more people, it should be a building that differs from the rest in its appearance and function. Usually tourists prefer to rent the accommodation as close as possible to ski lifts, because they do not want to waste time walking in uncomfortable boots to the entrance of the resort. If the hotel is at the foot of the mountain, they do not have to rent a car. It’s even better if tenants could drive straight into their rooms from the slope. This concept became the main idea of the project.
