Das Thema dieser Arbeit geht auf den Architekturwettbewerb “Quinta do Monte D’Oiro Wine Hotel” zurück, dessen Ziel die Erweiterung durch einen Hotel¬Entwurf des bestehenden Weingutskomplexes, dass Besucher das berühmte Weingut in vollen Zügen genießen können. Das Hotel soll die herrlichen Aussichten und die malerische Landschaft des Weinbergs in vollem Umfang repräsentierten und eine breite Palette von Möglichkeiten anbieten. Von einem Spa, einem Restaurant bis hin zu Büroräumen und einem Veranstaltungssaal stehen bereit, um den Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Die Konzeptidee des vorgeschlagenen Gebäudekomplexes liegt darauf, sich mit seinem modernen Design in die Landschaft einzufügen, ohne die Authentizität des historischen Weinguts zu stören. Das Projekt zielt nicht nur darauf ab, mehr Menschen in die Gegend zu locken und damit den Tourismus und die lokale Wirtschaft anzukurbeln, sondern auch eine unverwechselbare Atmosphäre für Arbeit und Vergnügen zu schaffen.

The topic of this thesis originates from the architecture competition “Quinta do Monte D’Oiro Wine hotel“ whose purpose is the extension of the existing winery complex by proposing a design for a hotel that can accommodate visitors to the famous vineyard. The hotel should take full advantage of the exquisite views and scenic landscape of the vineyard and incorporate a wide range of support facilities, from a spa and restaurant to office spaces and an event hall, to ensure the visitors’ memorable stay. The focus of attention of the proposed building complex is to incorporate its modern design into the landscape without disturbing the authenticity of the historical winery. The project aims not only to attract more people to the area and therefore boost tourism and the local economy, but also to create a distinctive atmosphere for both business and pleasure.
