Abstract

Was als Suche nach weiblichen* Vorbildern begann, wurde schnell zur Frage, warum es so wenige davon gibt. Die ermutigende Erkenntnis, dass sie durchaus und in großer Bandbreite existieren. Gefolgt von der bedauerlichen Realität, dass sie oft nicht angemessen gewürdigt oder publiziert werden, ihnen nicht die verdiente öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit zuteilwird. Mit dem festen Entschluss das zu ändern. Die konträren Bedürfnisse nach Sicherheit und Gemeinschaft ins Räumliche übersetzt. Als Ort der Selbstbestimmung und Selbstermächtigung, der Kollektivität und Solidarität. Als Ort für Frauen*.
