Abstract:
During the initial stages of heavy-ion collisions, the quark-gluon plasma generated therein is far from equilibrium, which presents a challenge for the theoretical description of jet quenching during these stages. In this talk, I will present how to obtain the jet quenching parameter during these stages, which is an important parameter used in jet quenching models that characterizes the jet-medium interactions.
