The analysis in this master thesis focuses on the possibilities and options thatcompanies have when using NFTs as tradable goods. A physical collectible item wasdigitalized and turned into an NFT, with the intended purpose of selling it on adesignated NFT marketplace. In addition to the creational part, an evaluation of themost suitable blockchain and a survey among the customer surrounding of a tradingcompany were carried out to understand the demographics and consumer behavior.The gathered information from the survey influenced the NFT’s design layout andhelped to investigate possible fields of interest and their connections to consumerbehavior. An outlook on side effects and limitations but also on the opportunities whichare generated when using NFTs as trading goods are discussed at the end of thethesis.
