Zwischen Kunst und Landschaft - ein Kunstrefugium im Schwarzwald

Abstract

Die ländlichen Regionen im Schwarzwald sind noch heute von der traditionellen Bauernhausarchitektur geprägt. Die ursprüngliche Form dieser Bauten wird durch typische technische und gestalterische Merkmale und Elemente definiert. Die Grundlage dieser Arbeit bildet die Analyse und Kategorisierung dieser Bauform samt jener Elemente.In der Region des mittleren Schwarzwaldes soll ein Kunstrefugium entstehen. Ein temporärer Wohn-, Arbeits- und Ausstellungsort angeschlossen an das Dorf Horben im Dreisamtal, in dem die traditionellen Charaktereigenschaften ihre Berücksichtigung finden und neu interpretiert werden, ohne dabei die technischen Neuerungen zu negieren.Eingebettet in die Topografie des Ortes entstehen drei eigenständige Gebäude mit unterschiedlichen Charaktereigenschaften und Qualitäten.Durch den Dialog zwischen Kunst, Architektur und Landschaft wird die architektonische Form bestimmt und die Landschaft rückt in den Mittelpunkt.So entsteht zum einen ein Rückzugsort für das kreative Arbeiten und zum anderen ein Ausstellungsort für die Öffentlichkeit der in den landschaftlichen Raum fortgeführt wird.

The rural regions of the Black Forest are still characterized by traditional farmhouse architecture.The original form of these buildings are defined by typical technical and design features and elements.The basis of this work is the analysis and categorization of this design and its elements.An art retreat, consisting of a temporary place to live, work, and exhibit, is to be created in the central Black Forest region connected to the village Horben in the Dreisamtal.Here, the traditional character traits are taken into account and reinterpreted without negating the technical innovations. Embedded in the topography of the place, three independent buildings with different characteristics and qualities are being built.Through the dialogue between art, architecture and landscape, the architectural form is determined and the landscape moves into focus.On the one hand, this creates a retreat for creative work and, on the other hand, an exhibition space for the public that is continued in the landscape.
