This poster outlines the formative development and evaluation process of an interactive
study planning tool that combines AI-based feedback and process mining to improve
comprehensive, informed, and autonomous long-term study planning for students in higher
education. The tool integrates rule-based AI with Learning Analytics to provide context-aware
feedback, leveraging historical student data to inform planning decisions. The formative Human-
Centered Design process integrates Process Mining and AI while incorporating interdisciplinary
perspectives of computer science, pedagogy, social sciences, and ethics.
