Bestimmung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von ungefrorenen Böden und Korngemischen – Teil 1

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag, bestehend aus zwei Teilen, behandelt die Messung und Berechnung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit ungefrorener Böden. Hierzu wird die Wärmeleitfähigkeit von zwei Böden, sandigen Kiesen und schluffigen Sanden, experimentell mithilfe einer instationären Messmethode mit linienförmiger Wärmequelle (Nadelsonde) bestimmt und mit den Berechnungsergebnissen empirischer Modelle verglichen. Diese Modelle ermöglichen die Abschätzung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit in Abhängigkeit von labortechnisch leicht bestimmbaren Bodenkenngrößen, wie dem Wassergehalt w, dem Porenanteil n und der Trockendichte ρd. Die zugrunde gelegten Gleichungen der empirischen Prognosemodelle werden detailliert beschrieben und in einer Tabelle zusammengefasst. Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, eine fundierte Grundlage für die Quantifizierung und Validierung der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Böden zu schaffen, um deren Eignung für geothermische Anwendungen und andere technische Nutzungsmöglichkeiten zu beurteilen.

This article, consisting of two parts, deals with the measurement and calculation of the thermal conductivity of unfrozen soils. For this purpose, the thermal conductivity of two soils, sandy gravels and silty sands, is determined experimentally using a transient measurement method with a linear heat source (needle probe) and compared with the calculation results of empirical models. These models make it possible to estimate the thermal conductivity as a function of soil parameters that can be easily determined in the laboratory, such as the water content w, the porosity n and the dry density ρd. The empirical prediction models are described in detail and summarized in a table. The aim of this paper is to provide a basis for quantifying and validating the thermal conductivity of soils to assess their suitability for geothermal applications and other technical uses.
