Abstract:
Aging of Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified bitumen leads to polymer network degra-dation and existing commercial rejuvenators mainly replenish light components but fail to restore this network. The present paper introduces an innovative rejuvenator that not only supplements these light components, but also mends the compromised SBS polymer network through specially designed chemical connecting agents.
