Abstract:

The paper explores how physical full-scale models and emerging virtual reality (VR) technologies support architectural design. Full-scale labs provide direct spatial experience with light, materials, and proportions, while VR enables immersive, interactive exploration of 3D models. Case studies illustrate applications in housing projects and digital–analogue integrations such as “Lubolego.” The study emphasizes VR’s efficiency, ecological benefits, and cross-platform accessibility, suggesting that combining physical and virtual simulations equips architects with powerful tools for planning, decision-making, and envisioning future space
