Hensel, M. U. (2026, February 10). Key Concepts of Architecture and Environment Integration [Presentation]. Public Lecture Key Concepts of Architecture and Environment Integration, Hannover, Germany.
Rapid urbanisation and construction are key drivers of anthropogenic environmental transformation, leading to environmental and ecological degradation and negative impact human health and well-being. Seeking for solutions to these complex sustainability problems and equitable urban futures requires fundamental rethinking of the way even green cities and architectures are thought of. This talk by Prof. Michael Hensel will focus on three correlated key concepts that pursue such a fundamental rethinking, illustrated by examples from praxis, research and teaching.
