Each new generation of wireless networks has among its goals improving data rates and offering its users more stable and robust service. To achieve that, new technologies are studied and when their benefits outweigh the limitations, utilization is proposed. Some of the innovations the upcoming sixth-generation (6G) mobile communication networks consider including are the Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) and the Channel Knowledge Map (CKM). This thesis covers usage of CKM in a factory environment equipped with RIS devices for the purpose of providing each user in the factory requested data rate. The CKM is used as a precomputed database that carries the information about channel quality of each point of the factory area. The multiple RIS devices distributed across the room improve coverage, enabling connectivity even at otherwise isolated positions. In addition, each user is provided with a guarantee of the requested service to yield a reliable service. Therefore, this study focuses on creation of a protocol that would describe the communication between multiple users, BS, and multiple RIS devices in an environment with precomputed channel information in the form of a CKM.
