Ski-In Haus/Ennstal - von der Schipiste mit den Schiern direkt ins Hotel

Abstract

Der Wintersport mit all seinen Facetten prägte unser Land und vor allem die Region um den Hauser Kaibling schon sehr früh. Als essentielle Einnahmequelle des oberen Ennstales, wird immer wieder nach Möglichkeiten gesucht, den Tourismus attraktiver zu machen, den Gast einen unvergesslichen Erlebnisurlaub zu bieten und das Element Schnee nach allen Regeln der Kunst schmackhaft zu machen. Dafür werden jährlich immer wieder und wieder Millionen in Beschneiungsanlagen, Schlafmöglichkeiten und neue Sportarten investiert. Meine Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Errichtung einer Hotelanlage direkt am Berg, um für den Pistenbenutzer einen fließenden Übergang zwischen Schispaß und ruhigem Hotelzimmer zu schaffen. Durch die bauliche Anpassung an die Geländegegebenheiten wird es dem Sportler einerseits möglich sein, das Gebäude selbst als Piste zu nutzen, zum anderen direkt sein Zimmer zu befahren. Durch die Positionierung über das Plateau hinaus kann ein Ausblick über das obere Ennstal gewährleistet werden, der die Zimmergrundrisse stark beeinflusst. Diese sind sehr individuell gestaltet, an unterschiedlichste Bedürfnisse angepasst und sollen so neben den sportlichen Erlebnissen eine zusätzliche Attraktion in den Ennstaler Alpen bieten.

The influence of winter sport with all its aspects in our country and especially in our area, around the Hauser Kaibling, goes way back in time. The fact that it is an essential source of income in the Upper Ennstal, makes it important to constantly find new ways to make tourism more attractive to guests; with the ultimate result of giving visitors an unforgettable vacation experience, by making the element snow exciting by all means. Therefore millions are invested every year in snow production machinery as well as accommodation and new invented sport activities. My thesis is about the construction of a hotel directly on the mountainside, so that visitors have the opportunity of enjoying all kind of winter sports, while having quiet and relaxing hotel rooms, all in the same place. Through constructional adaptions of the building in regards to the environment of the mountain, it is going to be possible for sportsmen to use the building itself as a slope, as well as they will be able to ski directly to their hotel rooms. The positioning of the hotel over a plateau assures spectacular views over the whole Upper Ennstal area on the one hand; on the other hand this influences the ground plans of the rooms severely. Each room is designed individually and meets different needs. Besides the active sport experience for vacationers, this accommodation offers an additional attraction to the Alps in this area .
