Campus+ Aron Menczer - Entwurf einer städtischen Bildungseinrichtung

Abstract

Unsere Gesellschaft befindet sich im ständigen Wandel, und Bildung ist ein grundlegender Faktor gesellschaftlicher Entwicklung. Durch Globalisierung, die zunehmende Digitalisierung und den dadurch immer schneller werdenden Informationsaustausch wird dieser Wandel beschleunigt. Schule muss also Kompetenzen vermitteln, welche die Kinder für eine ungewisse Zukunft vorbereiten sollen. Dieses Ziel wird durch den Raum als international anerkannten 'dritten Pädagogen' unterstützt, welcher zum Beispiel durch Raumkonfiguration und Materialität die pädagogische Arbeit unterstützt und die kindliche Entwicklung fördert. Gegenstand dieser Diplomarbeit ist die Entwicklung eines Schulgebäudes als Wettbewerbsbeitrag für den 'Campus+ Aron Menczer' im dritten Wiener Gemeindebezirk. Einleitend wird das 'Campusmodell - Das Wiener Bildungsmodell der Zukunft' vorgestellt und dessen Entwicklung anhand der bereits gebauten bzw. sich in Planung befindlichen Campus-Projekte analysiert und dargestellt. Im Fokus der Analyse steht die Entwicklung des räumlich-pädagogischen Konzeptes, die Form der Auslobungsunterlagen sowie die daraus resultierenden architektonischen Typologien. Diese Analyse sowie die Aufgabenstellung laut den Auslobungsunterlagen zum Wettbewerb, bilden die Grundlage dieser Diplomarbeit. Abschließend wird das räumliche Entwicklungspotentail, welches im Rahmen von Regulativen und Gesetzen der Stadt Wien möglich ist aufgezeigt.

Our society is constantly changing, and education is a fundamental factor of this social development. Globalization, the increasing digitalization and the ever-faster exchange of information are accelerating this change. Schools must therefore empower children with a diverse skill set to prepare them for an uncertain future. Towards this goal, space, that is internationally considered as 'the third teacher', can significantly enhance their development, including education and social skills by using i.e. different room configurations and materials. This diploma thesis represents the development of a school building as a competition entry for the 'Campus + Aron Menczer' in the third district of Vienna. The 'Campus Model - The Viennese Educational Model of the Future' will be introduced and its development analyzed and illustrated using the constructed or planned campus projects. The focus of the analysis is the development of the spatial-pedagogical concept, the form of the application documents and the resulting architectural typologies. This analysis, as well as the assignment criteria according to the tender documents of the competition, form the basis of this diploma thesis. Finally, the spatial development potential, which is possible within the building regulations and laws of the city of Vienna, is shown.
