Avramova, R. (2017).

The motivation behind the theme “The Future of the Work” originates in my personal background. The dissatisfied and stressed individuals, who we encounter on a daily basis, divided between work and leisure on one side, and the satisfied and self-fulfilled individuals on the other is the reason that underlies the question where our future is taking us. The way people work is changing constantly. The cause of these changes are diverse and difficult to define. However it is evident that these processes are to be observed in all life aspects. The conclusion of the theoretical part of this work, despite the hopeful view of the working world today is that the work has remained compulsive and increasingly so. The basic income should free us from the compulsive work and should redefine the role of an employee and an artists. In order for this to happen, a person must increase their awareness and self-determination. The architectural approach to this work is a creation of a tower of self-empowerment , which would consist of four parts each alleviating the transition of the individual into a new society. Each of the four parts leads to a further liberation step, through the criticism of the present working world and its conditions.
