Abstract:
Studies estimate that in general 47% of all jobs will be automated due to digitalisation. The Facility Service (FS) industry is the third largest sector in the EU. FS will be more affected as it consists of more routine tasks. The research questions are: Which technologies are relevant for FS and when are they feasible? Based on literature review authors evaluated relevant technologies/use cases. Expert interviews were carried out to validate the results. A survey was contucted to define technical and economic feasibility. The results present the relevant technologies and their feasibility in FS.
