dc.description.abstract

dc.description.abstract
This work shows the investigations on a laboratory plant of the reduction of particle emissions by electrically enhanced filtration. The laboratory system can be divided into two units. The first unit , the electrical unit is used for particle pre-separation , static - and - agglomeration . The second unit, the cleanable filter should reduce all the fine dust particles in the particulate matter area. For these investigations was a modified filter apparatus (VDI 3926 type 2) available. This was done by varying the different types of charging, filtration velocity with needle felts and membrane filters. The job was to analyze the residual pressure drop, the cycle's time and the number of particles in the clean gas. To evaluate the data in terms of their advantages, all tests were also performed without charging to get evaluated reference values.
