Abstract

Die Entwicklung der Stadt Bad Reichenhall unter dem Einfluss der Saline; Die Stadt Bad Reichenhall ist seit Jahrhunderten einer der bedeutsamsten Orte der Salzgewinnung im mitteleuropäischen Raum. Die Alte Saline zählt noch heute zu den wichtigsten Industriedenkmälern Deutschlands. Die Arbeit soll aufzeigen inwiefern die Salzgewinnung und die Saline die Stadt Bad Reichenhall in ihrer Entwicklung beeinflusst und bis heute geprägt haben, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf die städtebauliche Situation - unter Einbeziehung von politischen, traditionellen und ökonomischen Faktoren - gelegt werden soll. Die Stadt soll als Salinenstadt analysiert und Vergleiche mit anderen Salinenstädten durchgeführt werden. Außerdem sollen die relevanten Stadtteile und einige bedeutende Bauten detailliert und nachvollziehbar beschrieben und im Hinblick auf das Gesamtthema dokumentiert werden.

The city of Bad Reichenhall has been for centuries one of the most significant places of salt extraction in the Central European region. Its old saline is still one of the most important industrial monuments in Germany. This thesis shows how the saline and salt extraction have influenced the city of Bad Reichenhall in its development until today, focusing on the urban situation. Political, traditional and economic factors are als integrated. The city is analyzed as a salt-mining town and compared with other saline-cities. In addition, the relevant parts of the city and some important buildings are be described in detail and comprehensibly documented and related to the overall theme
