B2B Webshop-Konzepte in Theorie und Praxis - im Vergleich mit dem B2B-Hoerbiger Webshop

Abstract

Ever since the advent of Industry 4.0, it is undisputed that the business sector is changing sustainably. The widespread expansion of infrastructure and the ever-increasing digitization are attracting more and more entrepreneurs into the unstoppable stream of the digital business world. With new business models and high-performance B2B webshops, companies are now increasingly trying to market their B2B products and services in the best possible way. The aim of this thesis is to identify common ‘B2B webshops concepts’ as well as their success factors. As shown in this thesis, these success factors are not always easy to achieve and are subsequently associated with numerous challenges for the entrepreneur when it comes to launching and/or operating a B2B webshop which should be investigated as well. With the help of the literature analysis, the necessary foundation was created in the first step, which formed the theoretical basis for webshop concepts and their possible success factors. Qualitative guideline interviews were used to collect the experiences of B2B webshop operators in a second step. Four interviews with B2B webshop operators and one interview with a B2B webshop user were conducted and their contents were then categorically compared with the fundamentals of the theory. The results speak for themselves: The analysis of relevant literature revealed five basic webshop concepts that all of the B2B webshops (that were investigated) could be clearly assigned to. In addition to the webshop concepts, the following success factors for B2B webshops were also identified: the team, usability, product information, customer focus, user account, responsive design and availability. However, this is exactly where the biggest challenges for B2B webshop operators come from. The implementation of future success factors and new functions constantly present the operators with new challenges which, depending on the nature of the webshop, have a completely different scope of investigation.

Spätestens seit dem Einzug der Industrie 4.0 ist es unumstritten, dass sich auch der geschäftliche Bereich nachhaltig verändert. Der starke Ausbau der Infrastruktur und die ständig voranschreitende Digitalisierung ziehen immer mehr Unternehmer in den unaufhaltsamen Strom der digitalen Geschäftswelt. Durch neue Geschäftsmodelle und leistungsstarke B2B-Webshops versucht man nun auch verstärkt im B2B-Bereich seine Produkte und Services bestmöglich zu vermarkten. Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist es neben den gängigen B2B-Webshop-Konzepten vor allem die Erfolgsfaktoren von B2B-Webshops zu ermitteln. Wie sich in dieser Diplomarbeit zeigt, lassen sich diese Erfolgsfaktoren nicht immer einfach erreichen und sind in weiterer Folge mit zahlreichen Herausforderungen für den Unternehmer verbunden, welche es ebenfalls zu ermitteln gilt. Mithilfe der Literaturanalyse wird im ersten Schritt die nötige Basis geschaffen, welche die theoretische Grundlage für Webshopkonzepte und deren mögliche Erfolgsfaktoren bildet. Im zweiten Schritt werden mit qualitativen Leitfadeninterviews die Erfahrungen von B2B-Webshop-Betreibern erhoben. Dabei wurden vier Interviews mit B2B-Webshop-Betreibern und ein Interview mit einem B2B-Webshop-Nutzer durchgeführt und deren Inhalte anschließend kategorisch mit den Grundlagen aus der Theorie verglichen. Die Ergebnisse sprechen dabei für sich: Aus der Analyse von facheinschlägiger Literatur gehen fünf grundlegende Webshopkonzepte hervor, zu denen alle untersuchten B2B-Webshops eindeutig zugeordnet werden konnten. Neben den Webshopkonzepten wurden des Weiteren folgende Erfolgsfaktoren für B2B-Webshops identifiziert: Das Team, die Bedienbarkeit, die Produktinformation, die Kundenzentrierung, das Benutzerkonto, das responsive-design und die Verfügbarkeit. Genau hierin liegen jedoch auch die größten Herausforderungen für B2B-Webshopbetreiber begründet. Die Implementierung zukünftiger Erfolgsfaktoren und neuer Funktionen stellen die Betreiber laufend vor neue Herausforderungen, welche je nach Art des Webshops einen durchaus unterschiedlichen Umfang aufweisen.
