OntoUML ist eine ontologie-basierte, konzeptionelle Modellierungssprache. Konzeptionelle Modellierung bedeutet, dass es damit leichter ist Systeme für Menschen verstehbar zu machen. Es ist einfacher für den Mensch, ein Konzeptmodell als Code zu verstehen, deshalb ist es wichtig einen Weg zu finden, um konzeptionelle Modelle in ausführbare Codes umzuwandeln. Als ersten Schritt wird diese Art der Transformation in dieser Arbeit mit einem OntoUML-Accounting-Prozess erforscht, in dem ein OntoUML Modell in ein Business Process Modeling Notation-Modell transformiert wird und das Business Process Modeling Notation-Modell in ein Business Process Execution Language-Modell, das einen ausführbaren Code darstellt.

OntoUML is an ontology-based, conceptual modelling language. A conceptual model should make systems more understandable for humans. It is easier for humans to understand a conceptual model as a code. That is why it is important to find a way to transform conceptual models into executable code. The manner of transformation in this thesis is to transform an OntoUML accounting process to a BPMN model and to transform the BPMN model into a BPEL model, which represents an executable code.
