Movahedrad, F. (2015).

There is a lot of confusion in Eurocode regarding the raw material of concrete form, the different type of mounting on the vibration table and vibrating frequency of the vibration table. In order to clarify these ambiguities, the effect of - material properties of concrete form on pressure resistance of concrete - vibrating frequency on pressure resistance of concrete - mounting possibilities of concrete form to the vibration table on pressure resistance of concrete - mounting possibilities of concrete form to the vibration table on laboratory assistant are researched with experiments performed in this thesis. I have chosen concrete forms of plastic and cast iron to determine the effects of moulds material. Here concrete specimens made of plastic moulds and cast iron moulds with concrete grade C16/20, C25/30 and C30/37 were produced. The concrete forms were compressed with compression frequencies 4000 rpm and 9000 rpm. Moreover during compression, the concrete forms were magnetically attached on the vibrating table and were also kept manually against the table. To ensure the validity of the results of my work for cube and cylinder compressive strength, the concrete specimens were manufactured and tested in both cylinder and cube shapes in cast iron and plastic. At the same time my collegue, Emrah Büke, has examined with the similar procedure on combi mould (brand of Esty and Kombi).
