Straße verbindet: Städtischer Raum für soziale Inklusion : Revitalisierung der Straße Carrera Décima in Bogotá, Kolumbien

Abstract

Die einstige Prunkstraße Décima fällt durch Kriminalität, Leerstand und Überfüllung des Straßenraums negativ auf, hat jedoch zugleich großes Potenzial durch gute öffentliche Anbindung, ihre Nähe zum historischen und touristischen Zentrum Bogotás und zum wichtigen Einkaufsviertel San Victorino. Dieser interessante Straßenzug wird in der vorliegenden Arbeit untersucht und anschließend die auf diesen Ort wirkenden Problematiken herausgefiltert. Auch andere Themen, wie öffentlicher Raum, soziale Inklusion und Sicherheitswahrnehmung, werden näher beleuchtet. Das städtebauliche Projekt konzentriert sich mit flexibel anwendbaren Tools auf mögliche Lösungen und Interventionen, welche diesen Problematiken sowie der physischen, sozialen wie emotionalen Segregation Bogotás entgegenwirken, um die Straße unter dem Blickwinkel der Stadt der Inklusion aufzuwerten und mit mehr Aufenthaltsqualität auszustatten. Anhand des Detailausarbeitungsgebiets 'Kulturknoten' wird die vorgeschlagene Strategie detaillierter angewandt und überprüft. Schaffung klarer Strukturen, Umnutzung, Durchmischung und Herstellung von Synergien zwischen den verschiedenen Bevölkerungsgruppen sowie Integration der Straßenverkäufer sind die Hauptziele unter der Devise Wohnbau, Sport, Kunst und Kultur für eine 'gleichere' Stadt. Denn die Macht des öffentlichen Raums liegt in seinem Einfluss auf die Gesellschaft. Straße verbindet: Eine Décima für alle!

the ConneCtive street: urban spaCe for soCiaL inCLusion Revitalization of the Carrera Décima in Bogotá, Colombia The once magnificent boulevard Carrera Décima stands out negatively with its criminality, empty buildings and congestion. At the same time, it has big potential through its proximity to the historic and touristic heart of Bogotá, an important shopping area, and good public transport connections. This interesting street is first analysed and main impacting problems are then filtered out. Furthermore, the general topics of public space, social inclusion and perception of safety are discussed. Via flexibly applicable tools, the following urban project focuses on possible solutions and interventions to counteract these problems, as well as the physical, social and emotional segregation of Bogotá. It aims at upgrading the street from the perspective of a City of Inclusion and providing it with more amenity values. The proposed strategy is then reviewed and applied in detail on the Cultural Node, the area around the intersection with Avenida Jiménez. Design of clear structures, reuse of buildings, social mix, creation of synergies between different population groups and integration of street vendors are the main goals under the central idea of housing, sports, art and culture for a 'more equal city'.Décima for all!
