Ein grosses Hindernis fuer die erfolgreiche Quantisierung der Schwerkraft stellt ihre stoerungstheoretische Nichtrenormierbarkeit dar.
Ein Loesungsansatz hierfuer besteht in der Moeglichkeit der nicht-stoerungstheoretischen Renormierbarkeit.

A major obstruction to the quantum theory of gravity is the perturbative non-renormalisability of gravity. An alternative solution would be gravity's non-perturbative renormalisability. This notion has been formulated in the framework of the renormalisation group as asymptotic safety by Weinberg in 1979.
