Capresi, V. (2007).
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the newly grounded villages in Libya, Italian colony, during fascism. A first part of the work (chiavi di lettura / keys) furnishes both the historical and juridical data to introduce the topic. The second part (nucleo / nucleus) concern the critical analysis of the newly grounded centres.
Firstly they are described the adopted town planning solutions and the style of the villages. Afterwards, the villages are confronted together, to underline similar urban and architectural solutions. A third part of the work (teorie / theories) concentrates on the theoretical aspect of the topic, analysing the cultural transfer between Italy and Libya, and how the observation of spontaneous architecture in Libya come back in the debate about "mediterraneità" in Italy.
The "schede" offers an objective description of all the villages, based on a similar schema (name of the architect, year, funtions of the buildings, description of the urban solution).
