Entwicklung und Darstellung eines dynamischen lagerlogistischen Kennzahlenreports für die Geschäftsführung eines Handelsunternehmens sowie Erhebung des Optimierungspotentials in der Lagerverwaltung

Abstract

In dieser Diplomarbeit wird die Lagerlogistik eines Handelsunternehmens, welches medizintechnische Produkte an ihre Kunden vertreibt, betrachtet. Zur Steuerung und Kontrolle des Lagerbetriebs sollen der Geschäftsführung des Unternehmens ausgewählte Kennzahlen in einem Kennzahlenreport monatlich zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Zusätzlich sollen Optimierungspotenziale im Lagerbetrieb des Unternehmens aufgezeigt werden, sodass ein wirtschaftlich sinnvoller Betrieb des Lagers auch in Zukunft gegeben ist.Dazu wird der IST-Stand der Lagerlogistik im Unternehmen, durch die Befragung von Mitarbeitern des Unternehmens, die geometrische Vermessung des Lagers und die Verwendung von Daten, welche in der Datenbank des verwendeten ERP-Systems gespeichert sind, erhoben. Aufbauend auf den Anforderungen der Geschäftsführung wird ein Kennzahlensystem entwickelt. Die monatliche Datenaktualisierung des Kennzahlensystems wird dabei durch programmierte VBA-Programmcodes und ein erstelltes Formelgerüst in Microsoft Excel weitestgehend automatisiert. Ausgewählte Kennzahlen des Kennzahlensystems werden schließlich in einem Kennzahlenreport in Form eines Dashboards visualisiert und der Geschäftsführung übermittelt. Unter Einbeziehung des Stands der Technik in der Lagerlogistik und des IST-Stands der Lagerlogistik im Unternehmen wird der SOLL-Stand der Lagerlogistik des Unternehmens erarbeitet. Dabei werden Optimierungen der Lagerprozesse, des Lagerlayouts und der Lagerplatzbelegung im Kommissionierlager ausgearbeitet. Die Lagerplatzbelegung im Kommissionierlager orientiert sich dabei an einer, durch eine kombinierte ABC/XYZ-Analyse bestimmten, Kategorisierung der gelagerten Artikel.Mit dem entwickelten Kennzahlensystem können der Geschäftsführung des Unternehmens die wesentlichen Kennzahlen der Lagerlogistik in einer übersichtlichen Darstellung präsentiert werden. Aufgrund der entwickelten Automatisierungen kann die monatliche Aktualisierung des Kennzahlensystems mit moderatem Aufwand durchgeführt werden. Durch den ausgearbeiteten SOLL-Stand werden für das Unternehmen realistisch umsetzbare Konzepte erarbeitet, die dennoch eine wesentliche Verbesserung in der Lagerlogistik des Unternehmens bewirken können.

This thesis examines the warehouse logistics of a trading company that distributes medical technology products to its customers. For the control and management of the warehouse operation, selected performance indicators should be provided to the management of the company in a monthly performance indicator report. In addition, optimization potentials in the warehouse operations of the company should be identified to ensure an economically viable operation of the warehouse in the future.To accomplish this, the current state of the warehouse logistics in the company will be analysed by surveying company employees, measuring the warehouse geometry, and using data stored in the database of the ERP system being used. Based on the requirements of the management, a performance indicator system will be developed. The monthly data update of the performance indicator system is largely automated through programmed VBA code and a created formula framework in Microsoft Excel. Selected performance indicators from the performance indicator system are finally visualized and displayed in a dashboard and conveyed to the management. Considering the state of the art in warehouse logistics and the current state of the company's warehouse logistics, the target state of the company's warehouse logistics is developed. For this purpose, optimizations of the warehouse processes, warehouse layout, and storage space allocation in the order picking area will be elaborated. The storage space allocation in the order picking area is based on a categorization of stored items determined through a combined ABC/XYZ analysis.The developed system enables the company's management to view the essential performance indicators of the warehouse operations in a clear and concise manner. Due to the developed automations, the monthly updating of the performance indicator system can be carried out with moderate effort. The developed target state provides the company with realistic and implementable concepts that can significantly improve the company's warehouse logistics.
