Schwazerhaus Rauris: : Bestandsaufnahme und Revitalisierung

Abstract

Das Schwazerhaus ist ein Gewerkenhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und liegt im Zentrum der Salzburger Gemeinde Rauris. Es ist Teil des Ensembles von Gewerkenhäusern entlang der Marktstraße und zeugt so nicht nur von der Blütezeit des Goldbergbaus, sondern trägt auch maßgeblich zum Charakter des Ortskerns bei. Daher soll es unbedingt erhalten bleiben, obwohl das Gebäude nicht denkmalgeschützt ist. Das Objekt besteht aus einem Haupttrakt, einem zweigeschossigen Zubau sowie einem angebauten Wirtschaftstrakt. Bei dem Haupttrakt handelt es sich um ein zweigeschossiges Mittelflurhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit ausgebautem Dach. Bemerkenswerte Elemente sind etwa das gotische Kielbogentor, der eingeschossige Erker, sowie das Tonnengewölbe im Flur des Erdgeschosses. Seit 2013 ist das Schwazerhaus gänzlich unbewohnt. Der zuvor bereits desolate Zustand des Gebäudes hat sich seither kontinuierlich verschlechtert.Ziel der Arbeit ist es, basierend auf einer Bestandsanalyse und intensiver Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte des Gebäudes, ein Sanierungs- und Nutzungskonzept zu entwickeln, das denkmalpflegerischen Grundsätzen folgt.

The Schwazerhaus is a residential building (mining-trade) dating back to the 16th century and is located in the center of the town of Rauris in the Austrian state Salzburg. As part of the ensemble of 16h century houses along the main street, it is not only a remnant of the heyday of gold mining, but also significantly contributes to the character of the town center. Therefore its preservation is essential, although the building is not listed as protected by the Federal Monuments Authority. The object consists of the main tract, a two-storey annexe, as well as an attached domestic tract. The main tract is a two-storey house with a central hallway and an expanded roof. Remarkable elements of the building include the Gothic ogee arch doorway, the single-story bay window with double-stepped brackets, the Gothic-profiled window jambs and soleboards, and the barrel vault in the hallway of the ground floor. The Schwazerhaus has been completely unoccupied since 2013. The already desolate condition of the building has steadily deteriorated since then. The aim of this thesis is to develop a renovation and utilization concept, which follows the principles of monument preservation and which is based on an analysis of the current state of the building, as well as thorough research into the history of the building.
