It is not only a toy-model for lower dimensional gravity, but can also be derived from compactifications of higher dimensions. We focus on a more general, not power-counting renormalizable action, where we find a 3 parameter family as generalization of the 2 parameter $ab$-family, that comprises spherically reduced gravity from any dimension. We also compute the ground state conditions for Minkowski, Rindler and (A)dS space-times, for the 2 classes of models we investigate. |
