With the growing relevance of the lower end of the millimeter wave band, a precise characterization of wireless channels in this frequency range is of interest. We conducted an indoor channel measurement campaign at 25.5 GHz in an office floor setting, based on which, we calculated path loss, excess path loss, mean delay and root mean square delay spread. We conclude that the path loss for receiver positions in the same room as the transmitter is adequately described with the free-space path loss, antenna gains, and polarization efficiency. When located in separate rooms, an additional wall loss has to be considered, which remains constant throughout the office floor due to indirect paths with considerable energy. Apart from a higher path loss, propagation effects appear similar to well-known sub-6 GHz channels.
