Abstract:
We experience today the surge of a novel physics and novel technologies. This is really exciting, as well as very upsetting in many respects. What ideations might an architectonic optics prompt and nurture upon the novel information-physics and its technics? This short essay aims not to provide a survey of artificial intelligence and materials from the standpoint of an “expert”, but instead to present a philosophically broad and well informed, but also “vernacular”, way of talking about issues that are now highly disputed among experts, namely abstraction and imagination.
