Adaptive isogeometrische BEM

Abstract

Auf einer offenen zweidimensionalen Menge mit stückweise glattem Rand betrachten wir Integralgleichungen der Form V\phi=F. Hier ist V ein Einfachschicht-Integraloperator. Wir approximieren die Lösung \phi durch non-uniform rational B-Splines (NURBS). Wir entwickeln lokale Residualfehlerschätzer, die zuverlässig und effizient sind. Basierend auf diesen Schätzern, entwickeln wir einen adaptiven Algorithmus für die Approximation der Lösung.

On an open two-dimensional set with piecewise smooth boundary, we consider integral equations of the form V\phi=F. Here, V is a single-layer integral operator. We approximate the solution \phi by non-uniform rational B-splines (NURBS). We develop local residual error estimators which are reliable and efficient. Based on these estimators we introduce an adaptive algorithm for the approximation of the solution.
