SEAT (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo) has been building its automobiles in Barcelona since 1950. The company developed mainly in the Spanish market, between the fifties and nineties under the ownership of the Spanish Ministry of Industry. In 1985, Volkswagen bought most of the company, so the company opened worldwide. Among other things, SEAT is known and loved by producing and selling many icons of Spanish automobile history. For this reason, a few years ago, it was considered to build a museum. Unfortunately, this project had to be rejected for financial reasons. The then economic situation of the VW group did not support the idea of a museum, so this was rejected. There are currently over 300 historical SEAT models in an industrial hall (Hall A122) in the Zona Franca (Barcelona), which is located next to the former production complex of SEAT. Most cars have been restored and refurbished in recent years, with the idea of opening an exhibition within the hall, but not a definitive solution. Thus, the aim of this work is to design a building where the history of the SEAT brand and its automobiles can be shown in a fitting scenario. Due to the architecture and a guided tour through the new building, the visitors will be given a special experience that will reveal the history and success of the Spanish car manufacturer.
