Im Bestand bleibt alles anders : Verdichtung im historischen Stadtkern am Beispiel eines Bürgerhauses aus dem 16. Jahrhundert

Abstract

Verdichtung durch Interventionen im Bestand eines Bürgerhauses, im Kern aus der ersten Hälfte des 16.Jahrhunderts, in der Stadt Eggenburg NÖ als Alternative zur Bebauung der Peripherie. Der Inhalt führt über die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema der Verdichtung, der Analyse des Bautypus Bürgerhaus und der Erforschung der Geschichte der Stadt und ihrer Entwicklung hin zu einer Bestandsaufnahme des Objektes. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchungen werden im Entwurf einer geeigneten Nachnutzung des Bestandsgebäudes und einer adäquaten Bebauung des Grundstückes umgesetzt.

Densification by interventions to an existing building, the structure core dated back to the first half of the 16th century, in Eggenburg, Lower Austria as an alternative to development of peripheral. The work includes the examination of the topic of densification, the analysis of the building type, exploring the history of the city and its development and the building survey of the object. The results of these studies will be implemented in the concept of an appropriate re-use of the existing building and an adequate development of the site.
