Bulowski, K. (2016).

The aim of the study was to determine the influence of the concrete composition of the ultra-high strength concrete at an early age shrinkage behaviour. Material causes of the form changes of the young concrete can be differentiated according to their origin as follows: - heat of hydration - chemical swell - chemical shrinkage - autogenous shrinkage as a result of self-drying-out process The last two points appear particularly when it concerns high-strength concrete [24]. The shrinkage of the concrete is especially high in the first 48 hours as a consequence of chemical reactions and physical processes such as self-drying-out process during hydration. In order to determine the influences on the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete, the were the questions below to be answered: 1. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours depending on the Water-cement ratio? 2. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours when using different types of cement? 3. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours when using varying dosage of super-plasticiser? 4. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours when using varying dosage of Microsilica (Additive)? 5. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours when using varying dosage of siliceous dust (Additive)? 6. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours after the addition of different quantities of siliceous sand (Additive)? 7. How does the shrinkage of the ultra-high-strength concrete differ in 48 hours after the addition of different fibres?
