Abstract: 
The study aims to investigate the Post-Necking Behavior of the cast aluminum alloy AlSi10MnMg-T7 through non-conventional uniaxial quasi-static tensile tests. High-speed imaging and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) are employed to assess the effects of various notch geometries, followed by a curve-fitting procedure to establish the triaxiality locus. Subsequently, a finite element analysis (FEA, Abaqus) model is developed and validated.
